assassin and two layers
the next day. In order to check the equipment again, Hyde moved to the inn and opened the status screen.

(Huh? Cannot be equipped?)
Since daggers are usually equipped with one hand, you can equip another weapon with the other hand. In that case, it becomes a two-sword style and the power of the blow decreases, but the number of steps simply increases. However, the equipment column on Hyde's left hand was [Not equipped], and he could not hold a weapon at present.
(The reason is 80% out of 10 ``Shinobi no Knife'', but... in any case, let's check the other equipment together.)
"Shinobi's Hood"
[STR +20] [AGI +10] [Indestructible]
Skill [Night Vision]
"Shinobi's Coat"
[STR + 10] [AGI + 25] [Indestructible]
Skill [Shadow Barrier]
"Shinobi Knife"
[STR + 40] [Indestructible]
Skill [Assassination]
"Shinobi Tabi"
[AGI+35] [Indestructible]
(Yeah, I thought about it yesterday, but it's still strong. It seems that my status is used as a reference for the increased status. It was written that it was the one and only equipment.)
If you look closely, you can see that the ``shinobi jacket'' and ``shinobi tabi'' have some gaps in the clothes, and small items can be stored there. Hyde also stashes throwing knives in all those gaps. Now Hyde can take out the knife and throw it like a dark weapon.
(Skills attached to equipment)
[Night vision]
You can see clearly even in dark places. Disables visual status ailments.
[Shadow Barrier]
Creates an invisible barrier within a radius of 5 meters from the caster.
Duration is 3 seconds. Can be reused after ten minutes.
【assassination】
When the next attack succeeds in accurately attacking a vital point without being seen, it has a 30% chance of inflicting instant death. For monsters with no vital points, defense penetration. Instant death nullification skills and item nullification for instant death effects.
Unable to use equipment frame on one hand. Reduces all stats by 30% for 10 minutes when attacking a vital point fails. Instant death effects from other skills cannot be applied under conditions other than attacking a vital point.
(Really? It's a perfect skill for me. And the equipment column on the left hand is a disadvantage of [Assassination]. Also, is this small sword treated as a dagger... it looks like a complete sword)
While equipped with the effect of [Assassination], the hand that is not equipped cannot equip a weapon. However, since it is not necessary to equip throwing weapons, it is not a disadvantage for Hyde, who originally only had weapons in one hand.
And the [Shinobi no Knife] is classified as a dagger, so [Knowledge of dagger] is applied. No matter how long or short the dagger looks, it's classified as a dagger, so [knowledge of the sword] and [knowledge of the dagger] don't apply.
(Basically, if you aim for instant death with this [Assassination]. If you lose sight of me even for a moment with [Shadow Barrier], you can disappear with [Concealment]. There is a high chance of instant death... your luck will be tested in this regard. But the "next attack"...)
You can't see it because of the mouthpiece on the hood, but the corners of Hyde's mouth are slightly raised. She seems to have come up with something.
(This will need to be verified later. Don't forget to buy [Pinpoint Attack] before verifying. You can definitely succeed in attacking a vital point, which is the condition for [Assassination]. Also, you need to hide. If there is, [Ken no Mai] will stand out and get in the way.
After distributing the status points, [Discard] [Sword Dance], and start checking the acquired skills after defeating the boss.
[Hell ear]
You will be able to hear even small sounds and through walls. Hearing status abnormal nullification.
Acquisition conditions
Find the hidden passage in [Dark Training Cave] the first time you enter and walk through it.
[Utsusemi]
Nullifies lethal damage once per day.
[AGI] increased by 50% for 1 minute.
Acquisition conditions
No damage until reaching level 35.
([Hell Ears] is a fairly good skill. It seems to be useful for searching enemies and gathering information. Due to the system, the skill cannot be activated in towns, but it can be used on event maps.)
By the way, in the dungeon [Training Cave in the Dark] that Hyde cleared, even if you go to the hinterland without finding a hidden passage, another boss will appear. However, even if you defeat them, you will not be able to acquire [Hell Ears], but you will be able to acquire [Sound Collection] instead. [Hell Ears] is completely upward compatible with [Sound Collection].
(And, of course, it was a skill that requires no damage! [Ken no Mai] didn't suit me, but this [Utsusemi] is worth having in your insurance.)
Hyde had been meticulously raised to level 36 with no damage until now, but at the same time, he didn't think he would be able to remain without damage from now on. [Utsusemi], which has no particular disadvantages, was just right for insurance.
(Okay! After buying a skill and practicing a little new skill, let's go to the second floor!)
After roughly deciding what to do after this, Hyde left the inn.
◇◇◇
And two days later, Hyde was in front of the boss room of the dungeon leading to the second floor. She spent half a day gathering information, then half a day off and the rest of the day practicing and validating her skills. As expected, she didn't want to be exhausted for three days in a row.
(It took me a while to verify my skill, but it's okay.)
The reason why it took so long to verify was that the evil scheme Hyde came up with couldn't be executed, but let's put that aside for now.
(Well, if I remember correctly, this boss is a giant deer monster with transformed trees, and if you don't drop some apples attached to its horns, you won't be able to attack its main body.)
It's been quite some time since the second layer was already implemented, so if you gather information on the net, you can easily look up the strategy. Hyde didn't want to take damage as much as possible, so he thoroughly investigated the boss's information.
(For the time being, let's drop the apple with [Throw] or [Flying], then aim for [Assassination]. The probability is 30%. However, [Hidden Form] has a number of uses, so if possible, it should be 5 times... No, if you include the recovery time once, it should be within 6 times. Don't wait for the number of uses of [Shape] to recover. It's only once every hour, so you'll have to keep dodging attacks until then. It's almost impossible to keep running away for that long when your status is down.)
Hyde's status is reduced by 30% due to the effect of [Hermit] if he is seen. Furthermore, if you use [Assassination] to attack and remove the vital point, the disadvantage of [Assassination] will be 30% less, so the total will be reduced by 60%. [Assassination] only reduces the stats enough, but it's very difficult to run away from the boss with only 40% stats.
(30%……Since it will activate once in 3 or 4 times with a simple probability, if there are 6 chances, there will be no problem……should be!)
After completing the simulation in his mind, Hyde opened the door to the boss room and entered.
The inside is a large room with a high ceiling, and there is depth, and a large tree rises at the far end. After Hyde enters and takes a few steps, the door closes with a noise.
(The closing of the door to the boss room is common to all dungeons. It will take time again this time, so it will be tiring, but let's do our best!)
At the same time the door closed, the large tree standing in the back made a loud noise and transformed into a large deer. And the horns of the deer, which were originally trees, were covered with green leaves and some red apples.
(Alright, let's go!)
Hyde made up his mind and set up throwing knives in both hands. When the deer barks, a green magic circle appears at his feet and shines. Then a huge vine bursts through the ground and attacks Hyde.
(A little early! But still manageable!)
Hyde safely avoids the vines and throws knives one after another at the apple as planned. Some were flipped by the vines, but eventually all the apples fell from the deer's antlers with the thrown knife.
(This is the real thing! [Shadow Barrier]!)
When Hyde activates a skill, Hyde's coat glows for a moment. And in the next moment, a pitch-black hemispherical barrier with a radius of 5 meters was created around Hyde. The barrier disappeared after three seconds, but Hyde was nowhere to be seen. Oshika looked around restlessly as if looking for Hyde.
(Okay, I got behind!)
However, when the [Shadow Barrier] was released, Hyde had already used [Concealment] to go around behind the great deer. Combined with the increased value of his equipment, his AGI would exceed 200 if he wasn't being watched.
([
[
(It's the finish! [Pinpoint Attack]!)
When the deer's face is opposite Hyde's position, he uses [Pinpoint Attack], which allows him to attack where the sword is aimed. The short sword was sucked into the key point of the deer's neck as intended.
"! Guooooo!!"
(Oops!)
However, he does not die instantly, and on the contrary, he manages to avoid the counterattack of Oshika, who noticed Hyde's position in the attack.
(As expected, you can't die just once. That's right.)
Hyde, who wasn't expecting much from his luck, wasn't particularly depressed when he missed 30%. I thought he was a bit of a hassle.
Due to Hyde's attack, Oshika's HP is about 90%. Even if it's a boss, sneak attacks with STR over 200 seem to be quite effective.
([Shadow Barrier] and [Concealment] will be used again after ten minutes, so will you run away and hide!)
Oshika, who had barely reduced his HP by 10%, aimed at Hyde with vines without changing his attack pattern. While dodging the vines, Hyde continued to move until it was time to use the skill again, using shadows to get out of sight.
◇◇◇
“Guoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!”
The big deer screams and explodes into light. In the end, Hyde finally activated instant death for the third time and defeated Oshika.
(It was a little troublesome, but I'm not as tired as I thought. Maybe it's because I prepared my equipment, but thanks to the effect of [Assassination], the battle is quick.)
And in the center of the room, a magic formation appears. If you ride this, you can advance to the second floor. Hyde looked at the magic formation and looked around a little.
(Since I conquered it alone, I thought there would be a unique series, but it didn't. I don't need it because there's already a good one, but... in other words, there's only one unique series per person.)
When Hyde concluded, he got on the magic circle and transferred to the second floor.
So far I have done no damage just to let Hyde take [Utsusemi]. I wanted insurance. Next time we will be preparing for the second event.
This is the original setting I put in.
About sounds and voices coming through walls
If the sound or voice is below a certain level, no sound or voice can be heard through the wall. However, it is different if you have a specific skill (such as [Hell Ears] this time).
The [Assassination] skill
is not an original setting, but since I couldn't write it in the work, I'll write it here.
If you defeat the dungeon boss alone with the instant death effect of the skill [Assassination], you cannot get a unique series. Please treat it as undisclosed information about [Assassination]. Without this setting, Hyde would get as many unique series as there are dungeons. Hyde is now just getting it wrong.
I don't know if I'll ever have a chance to explain about sighting,
so I'll publish this setting first.
Even if it is within sight, it will be judged as not being seen unless the player who is watching recognizes it.
For example, if Hyde was hiding behind a tree. Even if another player catches Hyde's figure within their field of view, if the other player recognizes that ``no one is there'', it will be judged that Hyde has not yet been seen. For recognition, the game hardware reads the player's brain waves and makes a determination.
